While this produces a more even color, some of the natural grain of the hide is lost and overall life of the leather diminished. Normally, a painted-on dye will wear off at the stress points. (You may think this is just dirt build up, but on close inspection the dye will be gone.) Most of the vat-dyed leather I''ve seen has come out of Europe. Cleaning tips. To wash your car, simply grab a couple 100% cotton cloths, spray a small area with a misting of one of our products and use one towel for the first gentle wipe, removing the majority of surface dust and dirt. It''s very important to be gentle with your initial wipes, as dirt on the surface can scratch your paint if you wipe too hard. Use the second clean towel to buff the surface dry. Keep turning your towels so you have a aluminiumpolishs clean surface against the paint. Work from the top down and finish up with door jambs and lower valances.
